ComicReply™ is a new kind of an Online Contest Platform.
Many advertisers already use photo and video contests to promote brands in almost any product category. Such user-generated content (UGC) contests can be very effective, but are still mostly relegated only to photo and video creations.

The ComicReply™ platform focuses on enabling other types of UGC contests, starting with Comics, Drawing, and other formats. The platform is made up of a ‘wrapper system’ that can be used for any type of contest and a set of modules for creating comics, drawings, trivia questionnaires, and others under development. The platform can also be used for photo and video contests.
Why UGC Contests? Why ‘Fan-Art’?
* UGC Contests invite the existing fans to make themselves visible online so as a producer you can learn who exactly likes your content or brand.
* Fans love remixing popular content with their own ideas. It is naturally a lot of fun, and so the fans are also more likely to share their own meta-creations with family and friends – bringing your content in front of larger audiences.
* UGC Contests extend the fans’ relationship with your content, creating further opportunities for ancillary product sales.
How does this work?
Every contest follows the same process. Once the system is in place, fans create ‘fan-art’ and enter it for the contest. It is moderated and then posted on a public online for all fans to ‘Watch & Vote’. The creator shares their creation online (through facebook, twitter, email, etc.) in order to get friend to vote for them. Over time the gallery becomes very interesting with many fan creations and links to those creations are posted all over the Internet, bring ever more people to your content or brand’s web site. When the contest period of over, the most-voted creations win prizes. Winner are announced and a new contest can start right away.
This process can continue endlessly, accumulating ever more fans with every contest!
After the first contest, at the end of every other contest a ‘best-ever’ prize can also be given to the most-voted archived content – content can stay on the system just not relevant for the current contest (only content created during the contest period applied for that contest).. but, the archived content can also be available as fans would want to search for, view and share their creations at any time well beyond the contest it was submitted for. By offering a ‘best-ever’ prize at the end of every contest, you will offer more incentive for fans to participate, and to participate for longer periods of time.
