This is an excellent example of a drawing contest. An association of egg farmers created a unique contest where participants draw on eggs using an online editor and submit their designs as contest entries.
For every valid entry the egg farmers also donated one dozen eggs to school nutrition programs across Canada. Winners each won one of 12 iPad minis.
Drawing contests are not as common as other types of contests (like a photo or video contest) but they can be very effective when done right.
