For over a decade an auto brand has been running a fun contest for children about the future of mobility. Winning drawing entries of dream cars were animated and posted on a Vine feed. There were local contests leading to the global contest.
It is one of the largest global art contests for children and the 8th yearly contest has over 500,000 participants from many countries. Winning artwork were selected by judged by illustrators, designers and the President of the company.
This is a great example of a Creative Contest. In future iterations it can become a perpetual online contest with on-going Dream Car Art entries, online sharing and voting. By providing participants with many clip-art elements it is also possible to have an editor for inventing car ideas.
The ComicReply platform is designed exactly for these types of contests including all of the administrative features required to manage local, regional, national and international winners. It allows for having a most-voted entry win on the local levels, manage announcing and distributing prizes, while the higher levels can be judged by professionals.
Opening such a contest to online submissions and viewing/voting usually results is many more participants, views, shares, and votes, spreading the word wider about the brand and topic in mind.
If you are looking for a platform to launch an advanced social art contest, with all the bells and whistles, ComicReply may be the best solution for your project.
